• Identity & contact data: first name, last name, phone number, email address, business name.
• Service request data: the description of the work or service you submit via the quote form.
• Communication content: messages you send to us by SMS, email, or call, and our replies.
• Technical & analytics data: pages viewed, referrer, approximate timezone, browser/user-agent, and timestamps. We use this to understand site usage and improve performance.
• Cookies & local storage: small files used to keep you signed in to the admin portal and to remember UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to quote requests and provide the services you ask for.
• Send you transactional messages — quote confirmations, appointment confirmations, service updates, and customer support replies.

4. SMS Messaging Consent (A2P / 10DLC)

When you submit your phone number through the quote form and check the consent box, you expressly opt in to receive SMS messages from Vertex Labs Canada at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the details below. Opting out of SMS does not affect non-SMS communications you have separately opted into.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Email Communications

Transactional emails (quote confirmations, appointment confirmations, account notices) are sent because you submitted information that triggered them. Marketing emails are only sent where permitted by law and always include an unsubscribe link.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the limited categories of recipients below, and only as necessary:

• Service providers / processors who help us operate the site and communicate with you — for example our hosting provider, database provider, email-delivery provider, and SMS/voice provider (Twilio). They are bound by confidentiality and may only use your data to provide services to us.
• Legal & safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vertex Labs Canada, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.
